Moon sighted in Pakistan, Eid today

Shawwal moon sighted in Pakistan on Tuesday (April 9) . The moon is seen in the western sky in different parts of the country. As a result, the holy Eid- ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Pakistan today on Wednesday .

Pakistan’s National Moon Sighting Committee prepares for Ruet-e-Hilal moon sighting on Tuesday evening.

The country’s Meteorological Department said in its latest update on Tuesday that the moon will be seen today.
The Met Office also said that the moon will remain in the sky for more than 50 minutes after sunset. That is, it can be seen very easily with the naked eye. Ruet-e-Hilal confirms moon sighting around 9:15 PM local time.
